JAMII SALAMA INITIATIVE (JSI) Partners First Quarter Meeting
The Jamii Salama Initiative (JSI) is a collaborative effort by women's rights organizations and other stakeholders in Tanzania. Its primary objective is to create safer public spaces by challenging the normalization of sexual harassment, changing mindsets and attitudes, and advocating for policies that promote a safer environment for women and girls. The Jamii Salama Initiative (JSI) convened its first quarterly meeting which brought together old JSI partners, and welcomed onboard the new JSI 12 partners who are committed to creating safer public spaces across Tanzania. The meeting served as a powerful platform to reflect on progress, share insights, and collectively shape the way forward. With growing momentum and renewed energy, this gathering reaffirmed a shared commitment to challenging harmful social norms, strengthening partnerships, and driving sustainable change in communities.
